BSideFM provides Whakatane with a alternative choice for local radio. While other stations have a stranglehold on the airwaves and continue to batter you with the same songs over-and-over-and-over, BSideFM has always aimed to play more music in the hour than any other station. We boast a great roster of forward-thinking shows with cutting commentary and fresh music.

BSideFM is now for sale. After a change of circumstances we now find ourselves in the very sad position of selling the station. This obviously wasn't in the original plan but know we could not do the station justice - not to mention provide Whakatane with the choice they deserve. We're happy to provide more details. Buying a radio station is a bit of a weird idea, but it's worth a crack. We have had an absolute blast over the past year and are very sad to see it go.
